Volvo launched the new R for a journalists-test at the Paul Ricard circuit in France. As they did with the 850R models. The author tested a manual S60R and a V70R with a Geartronic gearbox. They prefered the manual gearbox as did Volvo (according to the author). A lot of Volvo enthousiasts must have fallen in love with these R’s by the pictures of flashgreen cars with oranje atacama upholstery.
